Thursday, December 3 - the Honey Brook Library will be hosting a “Thirtyone Party” fundraiser.  Thirtyone is a wonderful line of bags and accessories. 25% of your purchases will be donated to the Library.  Join us at the Library at 7 pm on Dec 3 or place an order online at http://tinyurl.com/HoneyBrook

Friday, December 4  -is our annual “Elves Night Out” at 7 pm with make and take Christmas crafts and the ever popular decorate a cookie.  This program is open to all ages and registration is required.  Signup sheet is located in our front lobby or give us a call at 610-273-3303.

Tuesday, December 29  -we have two programs.  At 10 am is our “Star Wars Make and Take Crafts” program for ages 6-16.  Registration is required. Then join us from 7-9 pm for our popular “Gaming Night”.  Take a turn on our Xbox Kinect or bring your own hand held device.  For ages 8 -18.  Registration is required.

Every Wednesday from 6:30 – 8 pm, join us for “Sewing with Ms Nancy”.  We have 6 older sewing machines for you to use.  For ages 12 through adult. Call the Library at 610-273-3303 for more details.  (*There is no Sewing on this Wed, Nov 25 because of the holiday).

Every Thursday from 7 – 9 pm, join us for “Knitting Around”, our knitting, crocheting, and needlework group.  Bring your own supplies.  For young adults and adults.

Are you shopping online for Christmas?  If you are using Amazon, sign in first through Amazon Smile.  Go to http://smile.amazon.com/ch/22-2489528 and let them know that you support the Honey Brook Community.  Select Honey Brook Community Library Chester County Library using the link.  It’s that easy! 5% of your purchases will be donated to the Honey Brook Library from Amazon.  Please tell your friends and family and remember to sign in through Amazon Smile each time you use Amazon.

Winter weather is coming up soon.  The Honey Brook Library follows the Twin Valley School District for closing and delays most of the time.  If we do decide to open, remember that we will also be delayed as we make the parking lot and sidewalks safe for you.  If in doubt, it is always best to call before you decide to visit us on a snowy/icy day.  You can also follow us on Facebook by clicking “like” on our Facebook page “Honey Brook Community Library”.  We post all closing and delays on Facebook.

Just a reminder that the Honey Brook Library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
